3D Printing

High-Res Prints at any Volume

Our laser-sintering (SLS) technology enables the creation of highly detailed, production-grade parts with exceptional precision and consistency. By eliminating the need for support structures, we achieve complex geometries and fine features that traditional manufacturing methods can’t match.

Whether you need rapid prototyping or scalable production runs, our SLS process delivers reliable, high-quality results across a wide range of materials and applications.

Why SLS Printing?

Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) is ideal for strong, production‑quality parts with complex geometry.

Unlike FDM printing, SLS uses a powdered nylon material that supports the part during printing. This allows for intricate designs, internal features, and uniform strength in all directions, without the need for support structures.

SLS parts also offer a cleaner surface finish, tighter tolerances, and greater durability than typical FDM prints. This makes them well‑suited for functional prototypes, end‑use components, and short‑run production.

If your project demands durability, precision, and design freedom, SLS is often the better choice.

Printer & Material Specs

Our shop utilizes the FormLabs Fuse 1+ 30W. This has a 6.25" x 6.25" x 11.25 (165 × 165 × 300 mm) print chamber and is powered by a 30W fiber laser.

Our printer is specifically equipped to print using Nylon 12 powder. Nylon 12 (PA12) is a durable, production‑grade thermoplastic known for its high strength‑to‑weight ratio, excellent dimensional stability, and consistent mechanical performance.

SLS‑printed Nylon 12 offers near‑isotropic properties, good impact resistance, and low moisture absorption, making it well‑suited for functional prototypes, snap‑fit components, housings, fixtures, and end‑use production parts.
